I’d worker harder with the lighting crew to figure out how to flag off safe space for you to position a mic above the table.

Although a boundary mic on a table isn’t the worst idea ever, but it comes with its own set of issues, as any noise on the table itself (like cups being put down, or hands fidgeting) will end up being more prominent.


I’m a big fan of the Sony UWP-D11 wireless, they’re easily the best bang for buck at this price point!

Better quality/design than the similar priced Sennheiser G3/G4, and massively nicer to use than the RodeLinks.

To step up from the Sony UWP-D11 you really have to leap massively up in price to go for the likes of Lectrosonics/Wisycom/AudioLtd/Zaxcom/etc
